| Bodies | Lenses | Magazines | Prisms & Screens | Close Up | EL/M Accessories | Shades| Filters | Miscellaneous | Used Equipment For SaleThere are many camera dealers that sell used Hasselblad equipment. The main disadvantage of purchasing used equipment from camera dealers is that you don’t know the mechanical condition or the service history of the equipment. They rate the equipment by cosmetics, but that can be deceiving. A camera that is in mint condition does not necessarily mean that it is in top mechanical condition, that it has received routine maintenance, or that it is even working properly. Most camera dealers offer a warranty. But if the equipment that you purchase from them needs to be serviced, do you know who does their repairs? In most instances, they are not qualified Hasselblad technicians, and many of them do not have the proper factory tools, training or experience. Purchasing used Hasselblad equipment from auction sites is not without risk, either. Again, the price of the equipment is based on the cosmetic appearance. But again, you have to be careful. A piece of equipment that is in great cosmetic condition may have been used very heavily, could have worn parts, or may not even be working properly. It's just like buying a used car. Appearances can be deceiving. I overhaul each piece of equipment before I sell it. Each piece
of equipment is cleaned, lubricated and adjusted in accordance with
factory specifications, and any worn parts are replaced. I guarantee each piece of equipment for six
months.
Should there be any mechanical problems with any piece of equipment
that you purchase from me, I will correct that problem, with no charge
for either the parts or labor, for six months from the date of
purchase. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by impact,
water, sand or abuse. If you are not completely satisfied with any item(s) that you
purchase from me, I will gladly refund the amount of your purchase (minus the shipping
charge) if you return the item(s) to me within seven days from the date
that you received it. NOTE: All returned purchases will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. I have been selling used Hasselblad equipment since 1981, and my reputation for honesty is beyond reproach. When you purchase used Hasselblad equipment from me, you will never be disappointed. I also purchase used Hasselblad equipment, and I'd be happy to tell you what I would pay for your equipment. Please give me a call at (781) 963-1166, or e-mail me at: hblad1@comcast.net. How I rate the condition of the equipmentI try to be as accurate as possible when it comes to rating
the condition of the equipment that I sell. I believe that you should
know exactly what you are buying, and I don't want you to be
disappointed with anything that you purchase from me.
