The Ride for Kids program is an annual motorcycle event held in 39 cities across the United States to support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation in their mission to find the cause and cure of pediatric brain tumors. As a motorcyclist, this is my passion and my charity of choice. To raise money for the 2010 New England Ride for Kids, which will be held on August 15, 2010, I am raffling off a 503 CW chrome camera body and a 180mm CFi lens. Both of these items are in "like new" condition. The winning tickets for this raffle will be drawn on August 17, 2010 by Paul Mitchell, general manager of Weymouth Honda. Tickets are $10 each, so you will receive one ticket for every $10 that you donate through my fund raising page at www.firstgiving.com/davidodess2010. Once you have made your donation, please send an e-mail to me at: hblad1@comcast.net with the following information: Your name Your daytime telephone number Your mailing address Please be sure to let me know how many tickets you would like for the camera body and/or the lens. You will receive one ticket for every $10 that you donate. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, so your donation is fully tax deductible. Your support of my fund raising efforts will bring us closer to the day when the cause and cure of pediatric brain tumors are discovered. |
